Top-down MLBC

You may have wanted to knit My Little Black Cardigan but given up discovering it’s worked from the bottom up? Top-down MLBC knits down, with almost the same results as the bottom-up version.

GAUGE
25 sts and 33 rows/rnds = 10 cm / 4” in Stockinette stitch with 3.5 mm / US 4 needle, blocked
TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE AND ADJUST NEEDLE SIZE ACCORDINGLY.

CONSTRUCTION
The body and sleeves are worked from the top down. The sleeves can be also worked from the bottom up and set in (recommended for larger sizes and thinner yarn).

DIFFICULTY: intermediate to advanced
skill required: short rows, knitting in the round
The top-down version is slightly more difficult than the bottom-up version. If you are an intermediate knitter, I recommend the bottom-up version to begin with!
